On June 24th, 2022, Roe vs. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court in the USA, leaving individual states to decide whether or not to allow abortion to remain legal. In my home state of Texas, a ban on abortion went into effect almost immediately. These events caused me to reflect on my own personal history with abortion, gender stereotypes, and women’s rights.
